RENEW provided landscape architectural services to promote walkability from the South Campus residence halls to the main campus and create a unique sense of place for student campus life.

We reduced existing impervious paving and converted the existing asphalt driveway, called Alumni Lane, to a pedestrian-only plaza with decorative paving.

The design included unit pavers, concrete paving, and granite block curb in both a functional and aesthetic way.

We added lighting in keeping with the style of the University to brighten the space for evening activity and increase campus safety.
